About Dr. Eric Succar

Eric F. Succar, M.D., is a board-certified otolaryngologist (ENT) who practices adult and pediatric ENT with a specialization in complex sinus, nasal, and skull base disorders. He is a Metro-Detroit native who earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his ENT residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA in 2018.

Immediately after completing his residency, Dr. Eric Succar was accepted into the advanced sinus and endoscopic skull base surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. 

Dr. Succar is credentialed at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland and Royal Oak Beaumont.  He is the vice chair of the otolaryngology division at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland.  His practice services patients throughout southeast Michigan.

Adult and Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat

Dr. Succar is a board-certified otolaryngologist who treats all conditions of the ear, nose, and throat. He sees adult and pediatric patients.

Audiology and Hearing Aids

Dr. Succar works with an onsite licensed audiologist to provide comprehensive audiology and hearing aid services to both adult and pediatric patients.

Inspire Sleep Apnea Surgery

Dr. Succar provides surgical evaluation for obstructive sleep apnea. He is one of only a few surgeons in southeast Michigan certified to perform Inspire sleep implantation.

Sinus and Skull Base Surgery

Dr. Succar completed a one-year fellowship in advanced sinus and endoscopic skull base surgery at Vanderbilt University. He specializes in individualized medical management, minimally invasive procedures, and revision surgery for chronic sinusitis. Dr. Succar’s exceptional training and expertise make him one of the highly regarded leading sinus doctors in Waterford, MI. In addition, he collaborates with neurosurgery on surgical approaches to the skull base and eye through the nose.
